

Naev’s powers were completed by order of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, his dismissal coincided with the rotation of the unit.

On the evening of February 8, 2024, two weeks before the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky fired Valery Zalia from the post of commander in chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, appointing the commander of the Ground forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, the Hero of Ukraine, Colonel General Alexander Syresky. This appointment was launched by mass rearrangements in the highest military leadership of Ukraine.
