In a statement published on Friday evening on the website of the British daily, Starmer stated that Great Britain reached its position in the political arena, which “allows the implementation of international activities, having real goals and practical solutions.”
As an example, he gave the so -called A coalition of volunteers supporting Ukraine in its defensive war with Russia. According to the prime minister, the same international coalition must be created for the Middle East. Its goal should be to create a plan for “ending suffering (people), both now and in the long run”.

In Starmer's opinion, the hunger prevailing in the Gaza Zone is “absolutely terrifying”. He emphasized that the refusal of humanitarian aid for Palestinians, including children and infants, is “completely unjustified”, as well as the further detention of Israeli hostages by Hamas and the escalation of Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister reminded that Great Britain gave “millions of pounds as part of help for the Gaza Strip”. He also repeated the announcement that another 40 million pounds are to be donated to help in this region by the end of the year. “But this help does not reach,” he emphasized.
Starmer announced the acceleration of activities aimed at evacuating from the gauze zone children who need urgent medical assistance. “We will bring more Palestinian children to Great Britain so that they can use specialized treatment here,” he said.
“We will use all the available means to immediately provide food and help to save the life of Palestinians,” said the head of government, adding that in terms of transporting help to the Gaza Zone, his office talks to the Jordan authorities.

On Friday, Great Britain, France and Germany issued a joint statement in which they stated that the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip “must end immediately”. The authorities of the three countries appealed to Israel for “the immediate abolition of restrictions in providing humanitarian aid”.
The statement is the result of an earlier telephone conversation of Starmer with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The global food program (WFP) announced on Saturday that almost a third of the residents of the Gaza Zone remains without food throughout the days. The Oenzetian agency alerted that the problem of malnutrition is growing there, and 90,000 women and children urgently need treatment.
