During the interview, Karol Nawrocki emphasized that cooperation with the prime minister is possible, despite the critical opinion about Donald Tusk. He explained that in his opinion the good of Poland requires the joint action of the president and prime minister. – The democracy system requires that the president and prime minister cooperate with each other in things good for Poles – said Nawrocki.

Karol Nawrocki criticizes the prime minister and sets the conditions of cooperation
President Elek did not hide his critical approach to Donald Tusk, whom he described as “The worst premiere of Poland after 1989”. Despite such assessments, he announced that he would support all legislative initiatives having a positive impact on the lives of Poles. Among the acts that gained his favor, He mentioned primarily projects regarding deregulation and raising tax -free amount.
At the same time, Nawrocki firmly stated that He will not sign laws that change national identity or reflect Poland's sovereignty to foreign authorities. He emphasized, however, that he is ready to be “very helpful for the current government and the prime minister” in areas that he considers priority.
Deregulation and call to act
During the conversation, President Elek reminded that the government was to prepare a hundred deregulatory laws by the end of May, which in his words was not implemented.
