The head of the ministry also announced the conclusion of a new contract for the supply of the Ukrainian ammunition necessary for air defense. Healey did not reveal the details of this agreement on channel X, but the British daily Telegraph predicts that this applies to the consent of Germany and Great Britain to buy more anti -aircraft shells for 170 million euros from the German budget.

The decision of the Ramstein group was made after US President Donald Trump on July 14 threatened that if within 50 days he did not agree with Russia regarding the war in Ukraine, he would announce a harsh duties towards Moscow and sanctions against its trading partners. The tariff rate can be 100 percent. He also informed that the United States would send Ukraine weapons, for which allies from NATO will pay.

The next day, Trump did not rule out that the date of 50 days could be shortened if he sees that Russia is not seriously approaching it.

The contact group for the Defense of Ukraine was established on April 26, 2022; It is an international cooperation platform, which aims to coordinate military assistance for Ukraine. It consists of over 50 countries, including Poland.
