Princess Kate, who announced in January that she was on remission after cancer, compared the cure after this disease with “a journey like a Russian munagne”, marked by “difficult times”, AFP reports, according to News.ro.
Princess of Wales, the wife of Prince William, the heir to the British throne, revealed in March 2024 that she was suffering from cancer, without specifying the type of disease.
In January, she announced, “relieved”, that she was in remission. She then said that she remains “focused on her healing”.
Having cancer is “an experience that changes the life of both the patient and families,” Kate said on Wednesday, who is the mother of three children, during a visit to the Colchester hospital, in the east of England.
“You do not necessarily realize, especially when it is the first time, what impact it will have,” said the 43-year-old princess. “You have to find your new normality, and that's time.”
“Healing, the course of restoration” are like “Montagnes Russes (…).
“You do the brave, you display a certain stoicism during the treatment, the treatment is over, and you say” I can go there, to resume a normal life “, but in reality, the period is really, you know, difficult,” said the princess of Wales, evoking the need for patients.
