Quickly prepares a huge investment, of over 6 million euros, an impressive training center, to the highest standards, near Bucharest. Earlier this week, the Sports Gazette was on the site, to capture pictures there. The works are in the graph, but it will take it until the Giulesti people can move to their new house.
The base designed by Dan Șucu, especially for the big team of the club, is built in Stefanesti, near the Bucharest Belt. Currently, no training ground is completed, one being only leveled and the other with a first layer of stone.

The first land, the one with stone, has already completed the irrigation and drainage systems. The training ground for the porters and the heating land are at the compacted ground stage, while the lights for the lighting pillars have been mounted. It will also be equipped with a defrosting system.
The second land is also the compacted soil and the pits for the lighting pillars are to be dug and the necessary reinforcement is poured.
In about two weeks, it is expected that all surfaces are at the first layer of stone. As for the area with hybrid lawn, which requires a large amount of water, two retention basins will be built, each with a capacity of 115 cubic meters.
It is estimated that all land, without lawn, could be ready until around May 15. Also, the lawn rolls are expected to arrive in early June.
Ultramodern training base for Rapid
“The training center will have, in addition to two large lands, one dedicated to the goalkeeper training and another special for heating.
The physical trainers asked me to have a sand training area and a ramp. The lawn will be a hybrid, identical to the one on the Giulești stadium, so that our boys will train in conditions identical to those in which they will play.
The base covers 3.5 hectares and will include both a building equipped with all the facilities for training and recovery, as well as a hotel. The buildings of the training center will be equipped with photovoltaic panels, which will make this project sustainable.
I am pleased to introduce you to the green area, all that means land. We expect it to be ready in the summer and can be used in the summer, and the physical training area is ready this year.
As for the hotel, we expect to be able to inaugurate it in a maximum of a year and a half from here.
Upstairs, the team will have a modern locker room and a video analysis room. I also booked a special area for filming matches and training.
