“After the experience at Asia Express, ladies stop me on the street. More ladies than gentlemen. The hardest part for me was the accommodation. I was also tall, the Filipinos were small, the Vietnamese were small, the Koreans were small, and you see two “namiles” at the door: “Can we sleep at your place?”.

We went to have fun, we didn't even buy clothes. I didn't even know what the weather was like in Vietnam or South Korea! In the Philippines I knew it was hot. I bought 20-30 t-shirts to have with me, but thick clothes, no!

As we got closer to the final in Seoul, I asked: «Could you talk to someone who is coming from the country to bring us to wear the national team jerseys? It would be a nice feeling”.

I didn't think it was that hard. It's a lot harder to come and go to shows than it is to play football. It is very tiring. The world knew me perhaps too much from the newspapers. Now they also saw my human side, we were like that before, but the world didn't know us. The world didn't know about Gabi Tamaș, it knew about «Imbata-m-aș»”, said Gabi Tamaș on the show “Liga DigiSport”.
