Viktor Orban banned the Equality Parade. “Creates the threat of physical confrontation”


In mid -March, the Hungarian parliament adopted an amendment to the Act on assemblies, in practice delegating the equality parades. The draft change was made by the rulers of Fidesz. The ban allows to impose fines to the organizers of events and prohibits “presenting or promoting” homosexuality among people under 18 years of age.
