The teenage grandfather killed by three friends in Timiș, under judicial control after slapping the mother of one of the criminals
The grandfather of Mario Berinde, the 15-year-old boy killed by three of his friends, out of envy, in the town of Cena in Timiș County, was placed under judicial control, after the mother of one of the killers complained to the Police that she was assaulted by a man on the street.

“On March 20, 2026, the police of Săcălaz Rural Section 2 were alerted by a 39-year-old woman (the mother of one of the perpetrators of the Cenei murder) regarding the fact that, while she was walking on Teilor Street in Cenei, she was allegedly slapped in the face by a 66-year-old man (the grandfather of the minor who died as a result of the Cenei murder)“, the IPJ Timiş transmitted on Friday evening, News writes.
The man was detained for 24 hours for hitting or other violence, later the magistrates ordered the measure of judicial control for a period of 60 days, with electronic monitoring.
The assaulted woman is the mother of the 13-year-old boy involved in the murder of Mario Berinde. In January, Mario Berinde, a 15-year-old teenager from Cenei, Timiş county, was killed by three of his friends, two 15-year-old boys and one 13-year-old boy. The two 15-year-old boys are in custody, and the 13-year-old boy in a specialized center.
