Panagiotis Tachtsidis (34 years old) announced its departure from CFR Cluj. The Greek midfielder leaves the club in Gruia after two seasons, but there are chances to continue in the Superliga! The reason? The footballer has understood that he will continue at a rival of Cluj.

The Greek ticked the last official match on April 20, 2025, in a FCSB-CFR Cluj 3-2, in stage 5 of the Superligi Play-off.
The midfielder also had a contract with CFR Cluj until the summer of 2026, but the two parties decided not to continue the collaboration.
There is a possibility to break up with tachtsidis. He is a valuable, sometimes glittering player, but who does not give everything on the field. Nowadays it is not just playing talent.
