Germany helps Ukraine develop a hypersonic rocket capable of bunling on Russia's territory

Ukraine has officially launched the new Grim-2 ballistic missile, and it will enter the series production. The project was accelerated following the financial and military support, and more recently received a new impulse after Germany offered a help package worth five billion euros, which included investments in Kiev's weapon production, reports Euromaidan Press.

Ukraine thus increases its internally developed attack capabilities, which allow it to hit deep behind the Russian lines.
Grim-2 is launched from a terrestrial vehicle with a solid fuel rocket engine and follows a ballistic trajectory established to a stationary target. The rocket has a range of 300 kilometers and can reach speeds up to 5.2, which is done by a hypersonic rocket.
The 400 kg foster allows the destruction of reinforced bunkers, logistics centers, aerial bases and ammunition deposits. The ability of the rocket to carry a heavy fossa for attacks within a 300 -kilometer radius marks a major leap for Ukraine's precision attack capacities: the fossa is twice as hard as that of the attacms, which Ukrainians depended on similar precision blows.
The fact that it is launched from a mobile transport vehicle offers the Ukrainians the opportunity to move quickly to a firing position, a launch at a great distance from the front line and to withdraw before the Russians can respond. Its speed of 1.8 kilometers per second is almost twice as high as the attacms rocket and allows it to hit the maximum range in less than 3 minutes.
The fact that the Grim -2 ballistic missile is a product of the Ukrainian military industry makes it possible to produce and launch it in large quantities – such a rocket has a cost of 3 million US dollars.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the Grim -2 rocket was successfully tested under fighting conditions -being used, for example, according to public images, to destroy a Russian command post on the eastern bank of the Nipru River.
Investments in Ukraine's domestic weapon production
Through the package of five billion euros, Germany will also finance long -range attack drones, FPV drones and Ukraine drone interceptors. Thus, Ukraine will be able to massively increase the production of long -range attack drones, with a range of 2,000 kilometers; Bars rocket drones, with an 800 -kilometer range, respectively flamingo high -speed drone intercepators, which are an extremely profitable way to intercept Shahed Iranian missiles that Russia launches on Ukraine.
Last month, on the occasion of Volodimir Zelenski's visit to Berlin, Germany has announced a new 5 billion -euro aid package for Ukraine and investments in the joint production of long -range armament systems.
“This is the beginning of a new form of military-industrial cooperation between our countries, which has a significant potential,” said German Chancellor Friedrich Merz
The defense ministers of the two countries have signed a memorandum that also includes German direct investments in the Ukraine's defense industry, as well as a larger agreement between Ukraine and German manufacturers.
The German Ministry of Defense has stated that a “significant” number of these systems will be manufactured by the end of the year.
