The National Assessment 2025 begins on Monday, June 23, with the written test in Romanian language and literature, followed by mathematics on June 25 and, where appropriate, by the mother tongue on June 27.
The graduates of the eighth grade will find out the first results on July 3, and the introduction of the visualization of the works (July 4-5) is a major novelty for this year, as in the case of the BAC 2025 exam. After submitting the appeals, the final notes will be displayed on July 10.

Students can prepare better for the exam if they solve the models of topics made available by the Ministry of Education. They can be found on the Subject.edu.ro website and show exactly how the exam will be structured and how the points are given.
The subjects for the Romanian language and literature sample are structured in two large parts:
- The subject I focuses on the text at first sight – a literary or non -literary fragment, accompanied by requirements for understanding the text, vocabulary, grammar and expression.
- Subject II involves writing a written text (composition or short essay), usually based on a communication situation or a supporting text.
The official model respects the format that will be used on the day of the exam, so that students can practice under the real ones as possible.

National Assessment 2025. What students are not allowed to do in the room
At the National Assessment 2025, students must follow a strict set of rules in the examination room.
They are not allowed to enter with mobile phones, headphones, smart watches, manuals, siblings, beasts or any other materials that could help them solve the topics.
It is forbidden to communicate between candidates or with the outside, the exchange of objects or any behavior considered as fraud.
Students caught violating these rules risk eliminating from the examination and losing the right to support in the next two sessions.
National Assessment 2025. Appeals
The initial results at the National Assessment exam 2025 will be displayed on July 3, and the novelty of this year, as in the case of the BAC 2025 exam, is that the students can view the corrected works before deciding if they file. According to the Secretary of State Florian Lixandru, the visualization is done either in the examination center or in the school of origin, according to the case, notes EDUPU.
The works are scanned and loaded in a digital platform of the Ministry of Education. It is used for both correction and visualization, without the need for physical transport between counties.
Each work is corrected by two teachers from different schools. If at a grid item the two do not grant the same score, the platform automatically signals the difference and asks them to reverify. Thus, the risk of error is reduced.
The visualization is done in two days, between July 4 and 5, based on an application, in the presence of a teacher.
The minors must come with a parent. Shooting, shooting or comments about the note is not allowed. If he observes a problem (for example, someone else's work or a missing page), the Commission may request the correct recharge and correction of the work.
Appeals can be filed immediately after viewing.
This measure is a national premiere, introduced after years of requests from students, parents and educational organizations, and comes to provide more transparency and confidence in evaluation.
The final grades will be displayed on July 10, 2025.
