According to the sources referred to by the agency, additional F-16, F-22 and F-35 were directed to the Middle East. Officials were to emphasize the defensive nature of the use of fighter aircraft, which were previously used to help Israel in shooting down drones and Iran shells.

Among the mentioned aircraft there are no B-2 bombers that are able to carry penetrating bombs needed to destroy the Iranian underground atomic objects, such as the Uranus enrichment plant in Fordo. B-2 were sent in April to the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, but according to recent reports they are not stationed there.

Earlier, however, about 30 air tankers capable of supporting mission of fighters and bombers have been sent to Europe. In addition, from the South China Sea to the Mediterranean Sea a shock group of the airport USS Nimitz was directed.

Although the head of the Pentagon Pete HegeSeth said on Monday that the movements are aimed at strengthening the defensive US forces, President Donald Trump suggested that he could join the Israeli Iranian bombarding.
