Tuesday session started with the decreases in the main indexes of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, followed by reflection, went through most of the day without a clear direction. The value of turnover on the Warsaw Stock Exchange exceeded PLN 2.35 billion, of which about PLN 1.99 billion concerned companies from the WIG20 index. The highest value of turnover took place at Orlen shares and exceeded PLN 400 million.


In the index of the largest WSE companies, PGE shares, which gained 5.12%, were the most expensive on Tuesday. The company's quotations continue to reflect after strong declines from the end of last week, which occurred after the presentation of its strategy. At the end of the previous session, PGE announced the conclusion of a contract for the supply of electricity from PKP Intercity, and after its completion about the purchase of the company's shares by the Vice President of the Management Board.
3.82% increased Orlen shares, which exceeded the level of PLN 81.6 and were at most since April 2022. In Tuesday's announcement, the company announced that its two programs related to renewable hydrogen received a total of PLN 1.7 billion in non -returnable funding from the funds of the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). There was also a report on the purchase of shares by the President of the Management Board on the ESPI Orlen channel.
Alica shares, whose ordinary general meeting decided to spend the amount of PLN 1.2 billion for the dividend, which gives PLN 9.19 dividend per share by 1.85%. The second most powerful banker in the index was Santander, whose shares increased by 1.22%.
1.49% gained the quotations of the Kęty Group, which presented their estimated consolidated financial results for the second quarter. The company reached PLN 169 million in net profit, i.e. PLN 3 million more than in the same period last year.
LPP (-2.74%) and CCC (-2.10%) were the least the least. The Dino exchange rate withdrew, whose shareholders adopted a resolution on the shares of shares in a ratio of 1:10 by reducing their nominal value from PLN 0.1 to PLN 0.01, and increasing the number of shares creating the share capital from 98.040.000 to 980,400,000 shares, withdrew.
