Nissan and Honda finally decided to stop the merger negotiations – NHK
The heads of car concerns announced plans to unite at the end of last year. And they wanted to make a decision until February.
The companies could not coordinate the conditions, expressed mutual claims to each other, and at some point the leadership of Honda completely proposed an option to make Nissan subsidiary.
The latter did not like it, which, it seems, was a point of no return. The united company could become the third in the world for the production of cars after Toyota and Volkswagen.
