Over 1,500 guests came to the Vienna Palace of Hofburg at World Summit 2025. The event organized by Arnold Schwarzenegger gathered politicians and celebrities not only from Austria, but also the whole world. The slogan of the peak is: “Let us unite in action – let's stop pollution.”

On June 3 in Vienna, Austrian World Summit (AWS) was organized for the second time organized by Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative. At the invitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger, actor and former Governor of the California state, 1500 guests from around the world came to the capital of Austria – mainly politicians and celebrities. Although this year's meeting takes place under the slogan “Let's united in action – let's stop pollution”, a significant part of the meeting is devoted to emergency services, which “tirelessly fight on the front line of the front with disasters related to climate change”
During the opening speech of the President of Austria, the patron of the President of Austria, Alexander Van Der Bellen, compared the current situation to the science science fiction script: “Imagine: all over the world – also here, in Vienna – the sky suddenly darkens. The clouds emerge. In movies, humanity sees a threat and unites to overcome it. “Perhaps there is a grain of truth in this fiction?” – the president suggested. At the same time, the politician reminded that in the fight for climate it is necessary to unite. “When it comes to survival, it doesn't matter what opinions divide us. It is important that everyone participates in it. If we want to save the planet, we must act,” said Van der Bellen.
Chancellor Christian Stocker also appeared at the meeting, who also called to put what connects us, above what divides us. “Only together we can work for a better future, which is ecologically, economically and socially balanced,” said the head of the Austrian government. He also added that it is necessary to determine the right course, where climate protection goes hand in hand with economic development. “It's not about sacrifice, but about innovation,” added Stocker at the end, who once again repeated his commitment to Austria's achievement by 2040 by 2040.
During this year's Austrian World Summit, the organizers devote a lot of attention to emergency services, which first face disasters related to climate change. Among the panelists were, among others A former fire officer from Victoria Viktoria Zechmeister (she took part in the fight against autumn floods in Austria) and the captain of the fire brigade of the house of Bei from Santa Monica in California (he participated in the extinguishing of the fires that Los Angeles affected last year).
The initiator and organizer of the event – Arnold Schwarzenegger – preparing them, did not limit himself to the walls of the Vienna Palace of Hofburg. From Tuesday morning, in all vehicles of the capital public transport, passengers are greeted especially for this occasion with a recorded message. “Here Arnold Schwarzenegger! Thank you for your commitment to a healthy planet!” In this way, the actor and former Governor of California reminds that “everyone who uses public transport every day is a real climate defender.”
Among the participants of this year's Austrian World Summit also included such personalities as the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair or former tennis master Dominic Thiem. In total, guests from over 80 countries of the world came to Vienna.
