The US president does not want to discuss, at least now, with his former ally and named Elon Musk “a man with problems” in a television intervention.

President Donald Trump intends to sell his Tesla car, a white house official announced on Friday for The New York Times. Also, two Trump administration officials said the US president is not planning to have a conversation with Elon Musk.

On Friday afternoon, an official told CNN that Donald Trump's Red Tesla can be sold or offered a gift. Prior to the conflict, the US president allowed younger members of his team to lead Tesla, according to the quoted source.

“Walking with Tesla President Trump with @presssec,” Margo Martin posted in May, sharing a photo from inside the car, along with the white house secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

The conflict between the two former allies escalated quickly, when Musk claimed that Trump's name appears in a major sex scandal and should be charged, and the US president threatened to leave the richest man in the world without government contracts.

One of Musk's most serious accusations was that Donald Trump's name appears in the “Epstein file”, referring to the documents of the Department of Justice regarding Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, who was accused of procuring minors for a series of known names.

Where the conflict started from

The conflict between the two began a few days ago, when Musk denounced Trump's draft law on reducing taxes and expenses. The initial US president did not react while Musk was campaigning to torpile the bill, saying he would add too much to the national debt of $ 36.2 trillion.

Trump broke the silence on Thursday, telling journalists that he is “very disappointed” by Musk. “Look, Elon and I had an excellent relationship. I don't know if it would be that way,” Trump said.

While Trump was talking, Musk replied real -time on X. “Without me, Trump would have lost the elections,” wrote Musk, who spent nearly $ 300 million to support Trump and other Republicans in last year's elections.

In another post, Musk said that Trump's rates will push the US in a recession at the end of this year.
