US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he was going to leave American troops in Germany. As he announced during a conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, he will not have a problem with it, and relationships with Berlin are important to him.

Trump was asked by a German journalist during a meeting with a butter in an oval office whether he would leave American soldiers arranged in Germany.
“The answer is yes. We will talk about it, but if they would like to have them there, then we have a lot of them, about 45,000 soldiers. It's the whole city, if you think about it. It's a good economic development. They are well -paid soldiers and spend a lot of money in Germany,” said Trump.
“But relations with Germany are very important, so yes, we will do it without a problem,” he added.
