The two countries signed a mutual defense agreement during a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin in North Korea last year.

These comments on France are published in the context in which the Secretary of the Russian Security Counselor Sergei Şoigu made the second visit to North Korea on Wednesday in less than three months.
