Beeline operator at 20 % accelerated 4G by the beginning of the tourist season in Mountain Altai

The Beeline operator modernized his network on most of the Altai Republic, having transmitted the available frequencies from the 3G (UMTS2100) network to a more modern and effective 4G.

This modernization is necessary in order to more efficiently use the existing operator frequency resources, and, as a result, provide services to customers in higher quality, making mobile Internet faster and more reliable. So, for example, in Mountain Altai, the average speed speed of files over a 4G network increased by 20 %, which will allow the operator’s customers to actively use Internet services even in a high tourist season.

The first stage of refusal of 3G in favor of 4G affected almost the entire territory of the Altai Mountains, including popular tourist locations. For example, the villages of Chemal, Elekmonar, Kosh-Agach, Ust-Koks, the village and the resort of cuffs. The last step will be the transfer of frequencies in the city of Gorno-Altaysk and the village of Maima. To date, a similar frequency translation has been successfully implemented in the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, the Altai Territory and in a number of other regions of Russia.
