According to the deputy minister, such positions have already been introduced in military hospitals.
“These military personnel will ensure the social support of our military personnel, members of their families. We are now launching a new training program for the category of these military personnel so that they can correctly and clearly convey information to their family members so that they can work with our wounded, as well as work with our military personnel who have a lot of issues,” Melnik explained.
He noted that this program covers a large number of thematic disciplines, in particular, military law and work with wounded and prisoners of war.
“I also set the task for the General Staff in order to develop criteria, so that these positions can be completed by civilians who may have a desire to be called up through the recruiting center for military service and occupy these positions so that they help our military, members of their families and commanders of military units,” Melnik said.
