Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Tuesday that on June 11 the Sejm would consider the application for a vote of confidence in the government, there will also be a vote in this matter. He said that the consequence of a vote of trust would also be a “periodic” assessment of the government's work and individual ministries. “July will be devoted to this,” he added. Earlier, in Monday's message, he stated that “an emergency plan, assuming a difficult cohabitation, is prepared”.

The president assessed on Radio WNET that voting on a vote of confidence for the government is to be a test for the prime minister's coalition partners and is its form of political game. “It is definitely a strong play and saying such a kind: I check” – he emphasized.

When asked about the assessment of Tusk's recent activities, he emphasized that the prime minister is one of the most experienced politicians on the Polish political scene, and assessed the competition in the campaign as “sharp”. “Donald Tusk here fought above all – in my opinion – for the survival of a certain line of policy he accepted from the very beginning, since he became the prime minister once again, i.e. in 2023 after the parliamentary election,” said Duda.

In his opinion, the voters awarded Tusk a “red card” by voting for Karol Nawrocki in the presidential election, because the head of government pursued his policy in an aggressive way. “I would like to remind you of accusations, arrests, entering the institutions and public media by force, de facto to the headquarters of the national prosecutor, breaking the law – brutal actions simply in short” – said the president.

In Duda's opinion, Poles do not like aggressive politics. “I suppose that (Tusk) will have a new method immediately because he is a very experienced politician,” he assessed.

On Wednesday at approx. 19, after voting in the Sejm, there will be a meeting at the Chancellery of Prime Minister Donald Tusk with MPs and Senators of KO. It is to be devoted to, among others losing by the presidential election candidate, which was won by PiS Karol Nawrocki. It is possible that the head of the Trzaskowski Staff Wioletta Paprock will take part in it. On Wednesday, the Prime Minister with Trzaskowski is also to be a meeting. It is not known if it will be a separate meeting. (PAP)
