Elon Musk has launched virulent criticisms to a draft law on tax and expenses promoted by US President Donald Trump, cataloging it right “A disgusting abomination” which will drastically deepen the federal budget deficit.

“I'm sorry, but I simply can't stand,” wrote the founder of Tesla and Spacex on the X platform, in a message addressed directly to his former political ally.

“This huge, revolting, full -time political law is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for him: You know you did something wrong. You know this,” Musk continued, in an unprecedented attack on members of the Congress.

In another post, the billionaire emphasized the economic risks of the legislative measure: “The huge budget deficit to $ 2.5 trillion (!!!) will grow massively and will burden American citizens with unsustainable debt.”

The white house reaction did not delay to appear. Karoline Leavitt, Donald Trump's press secretary, said the president “He knows Elon Musk's opinion very well” and that this “It does not change its position.”

“It is an important and beautiful bill, and he remains firm behind him”, Leavitt added.
