“This is an internal matter of Poles. They voted who they wanted. As much as we understand, we cannot expect that in Poland a politician will come to power, who would have a wider political vision that would allow us to understand the need to think about normalizing relations with neighbors, primarily with the Russian Federation,” said Pieskov.
Karol Nawrocki is wanted by the services of the Russian Federation for the actions he undertook as the head of the Institute of National Remembrance. It is about removing communist monuments of Soviet soldiers. The Russian media reminded about this by commenting on his win in the presidential election.
