Ebba Karlsson accuses Daniel Siad, a Frenchman she met in Sweden, of making her come to Monaco, and then to France, promising her a career as a model, according to the complaint filed at the Paris Prosecutor's Office, writes News.ro.
She accuses him of raping her afterwards at the swimming pool of a house in Cannes, after which he led her to Gérald Marie, one of the former directors of the modeling agency “Elite”.
She filed a complaint, in 2020, for rape against Gérald Marie, but not against Daniel Siad, because she did not know his identity.
Ebba Karlson says she recognized Siad in photos released by the US Department of Justice in the Epstein case.
His friend from that time, who met Daniel S., states that he also recognized him.
“Ms. Karlsson requests that the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office refer to her complaint, to allow an investigation into acts of rape and human trafficking, which will analyze Daniel Siad's modus operandi and determine if these actions are repeated, shed light on the operation and, if necessary, identify possible victims of unprescribed acts”, said the Swedish lawyer, Anne-Claire Lejeune, contacted by AFP.
On Monday, Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted in the case of Jeffrey Epstein's network, was heard by a committee of the US Congress. She is currently in detention for sex trafficking of minors.
Although he agreed to testify under oath, the hearing yielded no new information, as he refused to answer questions, citing Article 5 of the US Constitution's protection against self-incrimination.
