Although the power camp went to sleep on Wyborcza Sunday with the thought that Rafał Trzaskowski was leading in the second round, the morning brought a solid blow. PKW converted 100 percent circuits and gave official results, which were actually “for razor blades”. Nearly 370,000 votes were won by Karol Nawrocki. What will Prime Minister Tusk do now?

– Power camp politicians expect that Prime Minister Donald Tusk will apply for a vote of confidence for his government this week. They doubt the script of accelerated elections, but they admit that the plans of the coalition on October 15 have just collapsed like a house of cards – reports Onet.

As the head of his electoral staff Paweł Szefernaker said just after the results were announced, the Poles showed the red card to Donald Tusk and the government. “Either the rulers will cooperate with Nawrocki, or these governments will simply end,” he added.

He emphasized that Karol Nawrocki “will take the government to work”. “It is impossible to effectively rule in Poland without cooperation with the president. Over the past year, people who now rule have been convinced that since President Andrzej Duda is finishing his term, you can ignore the president” – he noted.

In turn, PiS MEP Tobiasz Bocheński assessed on TVN24 that “two basic factors” influenced the victory of Nawrocki and the defeat of Trzaskowski in the election. “The first factor is Donald Tusk and the fact that Poles in an increasing percentage are dissatisfied with his government and the fact that the end of the campaign joined very intensively covering Rafał Trzaskowski,” said PiS politician.

In his opinion, the second factor in the lost candidate KO's candidate is that Trzaskowski “tried to introduce himself as someone other than it really is.” Bocheński, when asked about media reports about Nawrocki during the campaign, including “laws” and reports of the takeover of the apartment, replied that voters did not recognize these allegations as relevant.

According to Onet reports, Donald Tusk plans to apply for a vote of trust for his government after losing Trzaskowski. This is to cut speculation about accelerated parliamentary elections. Changes in the government and renegotiation of the coalition agreement are already certain.

“The script with Karol Nawrocki in the Presidential Palace may mean that the coalition will remain mainly administration for the next parliamentary elections, which are scheduled for autumn 2027. It would be two and a half years of vegetation, which this camp may not survive.” – we read.

We can forget about changes in the prosecutor's office, the judiciary, the main promises that we made before the election in 2023 there will be no ambassador nomination. Each change in a key position in the army will have to be agreed with Nawrocki. We can expect resistance even in innocent cases – calculates the important politician of the power camp in an interview with Onet.
