“The activity of the Leova Customs Post will be stopped temporaryviciul informs that, in connection with the increase of the Prut River level and carrying out the maintenance work at the Pontoan Bridge, the activity of the Leova customs will be temporarily stopped today, May 30, between 18: 00–20: 00announced the employees of the Customs Service.

The Leova -Bumba customs station is open daily, between 08:00 and 20:00, and its activity will be resumed on May 31.

Customs recommendation

Meanwhile, travelers are urged to opt for other Moldovan-Romanian border crossing, such as Cahul-Oancea, Sculeni-Sculeni, Leușeni-Albița and Giurgiulești-Galati.

“To avoid any delays, participants in cross -border traffic are urged to opt for other proximity customs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! ”, the Moldovan customs added.

The forecasts of the specialists

According to the hydrological forecasts issued by the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) of the Republic of Moldova, on certain sectors of the Prut River will continue to increase the water level, with up to half a meter.
