Many gardeners spend a lot of time and effort to fight weeds, without thinking about their potential benefits. But some of these plants can become a valuable resource to improve the soil and increase yield. One of these unrecognized heroes is an ordinary dandelion that grows in almost every garden.
If you learn to use it correctly, you can significantly improve the condition of the soil:
Composting
Mix chopped dandelion leaves with other organic waste (grass, sawdust, vegetable cleaning). Mix the compost pile regularly for oxygen.
Mulching
Lay out a little crushed dandelion leaves around the plants, stepping a little from the stem. Support the thickness of the layer about 5-7 cm.
Liquid fertilizer
Fill a bucket with chopped dandelion leaves, pour water and let it brew for several days. Dilute the resulting infusion in a ratio of 1:10 and use for watering plants under the root.
