Romania now disputes the last match in the group stage at the Azerbaijan World Minifootball Championship against France. The match started at 9:00 pm, being in LiveText format on GSP.ro and televised by Digisport 1. To qualify in “Optimi”, we need an equal!
In the first two parties from the final tournament in Baku, Romania defeated Uzbekistan by 2-1, but suffered a surprising defeat, score 2-4, in front of the Ciad national, at the debut in the World Cup. Before the last stage of the group phase, the “tricolors” are in second place, with 3 points, at a point behind the leader France.
In order to qualify, the “tricolors” need a draw, taking advantage of the result between Ciad and Uzbekistan, victory of the latter. The main criterion of separation is the results in the direct matches. At the last edition, the one disputed in 2023, Romania awarded its trophy, after a final at the break against Kazakhstan.
