The process for the logo with the lion of Craiova University returns in the first instance, to the Bucharest Court. The appeal submitted by the club led by Adrian Mititelu was admitted, the case will be re -judged.
In July 2022, The club owned by Mihai Rotaru, CS Universitatea Craiova, was winning on the logo with the lion. Mititelu challenged the decision, the appeal was admitted, and the trial will be re -judged by the Bucharest Court.

The Bucharest Court of Appeal annulled, today, 21.05.2025, the sentence of the Bucharest Court by which the historical logo of the “Craiova University” football team was illegally assigned to a political association established in 2013 by Mircea Sandu and by PSD. The case was sent for re -examination to the Bucharest Court.
We are confident that, in the end, all abuses will be canceled by justice.
We mention that, at present, the club established by Mihai Rotaru, Lia Olguța Vasilescu and FRF, in 2013, illegally diverted FC University Craiova, with the support of FRF, LPF and of corrupt officials in the Romanian state. But soon, all these acts and facts will be brought to light.
We mention that, at present, the club established in 2013, Blue Lions Capital SA Bucharest, which became a sports club U Craiova SA, became U Craiova 1948 Sports Club, currently, self-tinted Craiova University, is not affiliated with FRF and participates in the football activity outside the legal framework provided by Law 69/2000.
In parallel, the only legally affiliated football club in Craiova at FRF is FC Craiova University.
