The president of Nicuşor Dan said on Tuesday, asked if he convinced the security and protection service (SPP) to stay in the house where he has been renting so far, that he, his children and his partner, Mirabela Grădinaru, are in a “transition period” and that they will make a decision “until one month”.

“We are in a transitional period. For another month, until the school is over. I promised that we make a decision in this interval. At the end of the school year we will have a decision,” said Nicuşor Dan, in an interview with ProTV.

On Monday night, he had stated that he wants to live in the villa where he has been renting so far and after taking over his mandate as president. “I will have a meeting with the SPP even tonight (Monday, no), even when I leave you, I go there to see what are the protocol constraints for travel and housing, to see what results from here. It is probably not impossible. Finally, I am a reasonable man and I will see,” Nicușor Dan, at Antena 1.

About her partner, Mirabela Grădinaru, the chosen president said on Tuesday evening that for the moment she is trying to realize that she has to go with the SPP, which is not easy “for someone who has been free.”

He was asked in the ProTV interview and how the children were accustomed to his choice as president. Nicuşor Dan gave as an example a discussion he had with his daughter.
