Lucian Romașcanu opposes Marcel Ciolacu's departure from the PSD chief: “We have nothing to reproach”

The former president of the PSD Buzau organization, Lucian Romașcanu, was positioned against the departure of Marcel Ciolacu from the party leadership. The statements take place in the context in which next week the National Political Council will take place.

It is obvious that, from the perspective of the balance and political performances Marcel Ciolacu had, we should not forget beyond our political ambitions and wishes, unfortunately PSD has failed to win the presidential elections for 24 years,” Romeo Lungu was elected president of the county branch, quoted by Agerpres.
He said that the Buzau organization of the PSD “He did not reproach something specific to Marcel Ciolacu”.
“He won the parliamentary elections in Buzău, the first place in the country, we are the largest parliamentary party in the Parliament of Romania, we think that most mayors and presidents of the county councils (…). Culture.
And Romeo Lungu, the new leader of PSD Buzău, sent a support message for the current leadership of the party: “It would be the peak that we – Buzau and the organization of which Mr. Marcel Ciolacu is part – to be against our president who helped Buzau for so many years.”
The PSD management unanimously decided on May 5 for Marcel Ciolacu to submit his prime minister, after the PSD-PNL-UDMR Coalition candidate, Crin Antonescu, ranked third in the presidential elections, after George Simion and Nicușor Dan.
