Irina Begu (34 years old, 83 WTA) qualified in the semifinals of the 125-point tournament in Parma, after a victory with 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5) in front of Anne Bondar (27 years, 89 WTA). The Romanian player will meet in the penultimate act of the competition on the young Victoria MBOKO (18 years, 156 WTA).
