Document American and democratic American senators urge Romanians to vote – Pro Nato, Pro EU, Pro Ukraine, Provilova in free and correct elections, without foreign interference

A group of six American senators, both Republicans and Democrats, have signed a common statement in which Romanians to vote and choose a president to strengthen Romania's partnership with the United States and the role of our country in the European Union.
We present in full the translation of the declaration of the six senators of the United States, all the signatories being members of the Foreign Policy Senatorial Commission:
“Before the second round of the presidential elections in Romania this weekend, we remain confident in the strength of democracy in Romania and reaffirm the firm alliance between the United States and Romania. Romania is a vital and hopeful ally of NATO, a net contributor to Europe's security and a leader in securing the NATO's eastern flank. The partnership with Moldova to accelerate its entry into the European Union.
This weekend, the Romanian people will go to the ballot box to choose a new leader and draw the next way, one who hope he will strengthen the partnership with the US and reaffirm the important role in Europe. We ask the Romanian people, including the Romanian Diapora from all over the world, to go to vote and exercise their right to self-determination. We also ask the Romanian authorities to provide free and correct choices, unaltered by foreign interference.
We look forward to starting on the path of a new chapter of the US – Romania partnership, with future leaders correctly elected. ”

The statement is signed by Senator Jeanne Shaheen, the leader of the Democrats of the Foreign Policy Commission, the other signatories from the Democratic Party being Chris Coons and Chris Murphy. Republicans are represented by Thom Tillis, Pete Rickettts and Katie Britt.
