Locally, heat records will be recorded. In Toulouse, the temperature will reach 41 degrees Celsius, in Bordeaux – 40 degrees, and in Montpellier – 39 degrees. 41 Department of France will be covered by an orange weather alert. Even in Brittany, the mercury post will reach 36 degrees.
On Sunday, the orange alert was in force in 40 departments. According to the Meteo France portal, there will be an apogee of heat on Monday, but high temperatures are to last until the middle of the week.
The previous heat wave hit France at the turn of June and July. In many departments, a red, i.e. the highest, weather alert was announced. The temperatures reached around 41 degrees Celsius, and in Paris for some time closed to visitors the top of the Eiffel Tower.
