Reimaginated Bucharest: The Amzei Block Party returns, on May 24-25, 2025

On May 24 and 25, Arcen and Mița Biciclista | Creative establishment invites Bucharest to a new edition of Amzei Block Party, the event that transforms for two days one of the most charming intersections of the Capital into a living pedestrian, green and open to the community.
The intersection of the streets of Christian Tell and the church of Amzei becomes, for the second consecutive year, a temporary cultural market, where people are invited to participate, to enjoy, reflect and, above all, to reimify their city. Without stage. No show. Just a human atmosphere, authentic dialogue and a table that gathers different people around the same questions: what do we want to look like? How can we live better together?
Amzei Block Party It is not a festival, but a civic gesture. A coexistence test in a city that needs break, breather and shared joy. It is an invitation to slow down, to meet and reconnect with others – through urban play, workshops for all ages, intimate artistic moments and collective reflections.

One of this year's central points is the installation “Endless meal” signed by the French artist Olivier Vadrot – a work that symbolizes the meeting, dialogue and continuity of a community that wants to build, not just to consume.
During the two days, the participants will enjoy:
- Urban play areas (Ping Pong, Chess, Sand, Shoton on Asphalt)
- Creative and civic workshops for children and adults (Origami, Guerilla Gardening, climate fresco)
- Musical readings with live piano accompaniment, contemporary dance performances
- Cultural interventions that encourage active participation and collective reflection
Saturday, May 24ththe day begins with a Community brunch in the marketfollowed by urban activities for all ages: play free with ping pong, chess, sand and chalk, asphalt drawings, guerilla gardening workshops, origami and children's reading, as well as climate fresco sessions. In the afternoon it brings musical readings with accompaniment to the piano and a contemporary dance performance.
The evening ends with The party “La Dolce Vita”hosted in the historical salon of the house at Mița Biciclista, with DJ Cristache and Cocktail Bar.
Sunday, May 25ththe day begins with a new series of urban and participatory activities: playgrounds, workshops for children and adults, climate fresco, dance and musical readings.
The day ends with a community dinner in the light of candles, dedicated to the conviviality and sharing between people and generations.
