Dinamo Welcomes Guests with Lavish Dining at UTA Match

During home games, Dinamo ensures that guests in the VIP boxes are treated to an exceptional culinary protocol. This was also true for the recent match against UTA Arad at the National Arena, where a varied menu was served, ranging from traditional dishes to seafood options.
The lavish spread comes about a month after Andrei Nicolescu, president of Dinamo, stirred controversy in Romanian football due to dissatisfaction with how officials were treated in Sfântu Gheorghe.
Five-Star Experience at Dinamo: Highlights from the UTA Match
Dinamo prides itself on hospitality for its guests. As has become customary for home matches, officials and invited guests were presented with a rich selection of dishes.
The menu included lamb rice, boiled potatoes with chicken thighs, shrimp, cheese balls, and bacon potatoes, accompanied by a variety of cold appetizers. Desserts were also available, featuring apple pie, cheese pie, and brownies.
For beverages, guests had access to still and sparkling water, soft drinks like Pepsi, Mirinda, and 7UP, as well as non-alcoholic wine.
“Those who think it’s just about food are deeply mistaken. It’s about respect and a minimum protocol. In the end, there was something to eat at the table. It’s about protocol. It’s a sentiment I’ve experienced before at Csikszereda and Arad, with certain individuals, not all. There is a trend to try and disrupt guests. I first felt it at Petrolul, seven years ago, during the famous match when they missed three penalties. It’s a matter of respect. The battle is fought on the field, not administratively, between officials. Dinamo, FCSB, and Rapid evoke stronger emotions when they play away, but that does not excuse the rigor and respect,” said Andrei Nicolescu after the match in Sfântu Gheorghe.
