Dinamo Bucharest Announces Departures of Four Players Ahead of New Season

Andrei Nicolescu, president of Dinamo Bucharest, has outlined the situation of several young players who will not be part of coach Nuno Campos’ plans for the upcoming season. Peter Believe and Cristi Licsandru are set to leave on loan, while the club will part ways with other players who failed to establish themselves, including Adrian Caragea and Răzvan Pașcalău.
Nicolescu shared insights on “Totul pentru Dinamo,” stating, “Currently, there is a significant request for Peter Believe from CS Dinamo for him to play there. I believe we will agree to that option, we just need to settle with them. Cristi Licsandru will go to Concordia Chiajna on a one-year loan.
We will mutually agree to terminate our contracts with Pașcalău and Caragea, allowing them to pursue their careers elsewhere. We have also concluded agreements with Bordușanu and Luca Bărbulescu,” he added.
Nicolescu emphasized, “They did not miss their chance, far from it! They simply did not represent viable options at the time they were brought in. It’s unclear who was responsible for this—the club or the players—but at this moment, everyone needs to find the best solution for their future.
Regarding Godwin Udosen, Nicolescu noted, “Currently, it is the coach’s decision to keep him in the squad. He seems to be a viable option, depending on his development over the coming months. He performed well in training and had a good match against Afumați.”
Nicolescu expressed regret over Udosen missing a year and a half due to FIFA regulations, stating, “If he had been officially registered at 16 and a half, he would be much further along now. At 18, we will see what happens next. He still makes mistakes and needs to improve his focus, but he is in a positive space, and that is evident to everyone.”
