A 71-year-old woman has fallen victim to a sophisticated scam, losing 13 million hryvnias after being deceived by individuals posing as security service agents on Viber. The scammers convinced her that a criminal case had been opened against her for alleged cooperation with foreign entities, leading her to hand over her life savings to a so-called “courier” for verification.
