U.S. Resumes Critical Intelligence Support to Ukraine Amid Tensions

The United States has restarted its critical intelligence support to Ukraine, enabling the country to defend against Russian missile attacks, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukraine has relied on U.S. intelligence to detect high-speed ballistic missiles launched by Russia towards its cities.
During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Zelensky noted that the exchange of information had been interrupted but has since been “unblocked.”
“We are very grateful for this,” he stated. “Now it is functioning.”
President Donald Trump indicated earlier this week that Washington continues to provide intelligence, despite claims from Ukrainian officials that some Russian attacks occurred without warning.
The resumption of vital intelligence comes amid heightened tensions following Ukraine’s long-range strikes on Russian oil refineries, as reported by The Kyiv Post.
According to The Washington Post, U.S. intelligence officials warned Ukraine that the information exchange would be halted immediately if Ukrainian forces continued their distant attacks against Russian oil refineries and petrochemical facilities.
The Trump administration had previously cautioned that it might suspend intelligence cooperation and block European purchases of U.S. arms intended for Ukraine if Kyiv refused to cease such strikes, which the president indicated were contributing to rising fuel prices.
