The tremor was notably felt in Diyarbakir and neighboring provinces, including Adiyaman and Sanliurfa. Reports indicate varying magnitude readings: the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) recorded a magnitude of 5.4, while the Kandilli Observatory, another seismic monitoring institution, reported a higher magnitude of 5.8.
