Former commander Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about critical supply shortages facing the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). During a discussion organized by LB, he revealed that in the first half of 2026, the army received only 15-20% of the necessary ammunition, vehicles, and equipment, including light tactical vehicles and motorcycles. Syrskyi noted that a campaign plan for 2026 was approved, which outlined several operations, some of which were essential. However, he highlighted that a significant challenge was the lack of necessary supplies, specifically pointing out the shortcomings in acquiring light tactical vehicles and the critical situation during the first half of the year. When asked about the reasons for such deficiencies, Syrskyi placed the responsibility on the then Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov.
