AS Roma Signs Midfielder Andrija Vukoje from Inter Milan for €1.5 Million

AS Roma has officially signed 18-year-old midfielder Andrija Vukoje from Inter Milan for a fee of €1.5 million. The Montenegrin player leaves Inter after a year and a half, during which he played for the U20 team.
Roma took advantage of Vukoje’s limited playing time at Inter to secure the transfer, which also includes additional bonuses and a percentage for Inter in case of a future transfer of the young talent.
Vukoje has been capped 37 times across the U15, U16, U17, and U19 national teams, representing Montenegro.
Inter Starts Strong in Serie A This Season
Meanwhile, Inter Milan has had an impressive start to the new Serie A season, winning their opening match 4-1 at home against newly promoted Monza. In their next Serie A match, coached by Cristi Chivu, they will face Cagliari away from home.
After winning the title in his debut season, Chivu is favored to lead Inter to another Serie A trophy at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
This summer, Chivu lost Denzel Dumfries to Real Madrid for €20 million, alongside other departures including veterans Yann Sommer, Stefan de Vrij, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian.
On the other hand, Chivu secured the permanent transfer of Manuel Akanji from Manchester City, after the Swiss defender played for Inter on loan last season.
This summer, Inter also signed three English players: Djed Spence from Tottenham and Curtis Jones from Liverpool, each costing the club €30 million, while John Stones joined as a free agent following his departure from Manchester City.
