On Wednesday night, close to midnight, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, confirmed that José Mourinho will be the team's next head coach if he wins the election. The announcement was made in an ingenious way, through a short video clip, in the form of an election campaign, in which Mourinho is dressed in the shirt of the formation from the capital of Spain.

Enrique Riquelme will run for the presidency of Real Madrid on June 7, against the current holder of the position, Florentino Perez.
If the current Madrid boss wins the election at the end of this week, then Mourinho will be appointed.
On Wednesday night, Florentino Perez tried to take Riquelme's face with a short video on the El Hormiguero show, which featured José Mourinho wearing a Real Madrid shirt and saying a short but emphatic “Yes”, a sign that he is just one signature away from becoming the team's head coach.

If Perez wins the election, Mourinho would return to Real Madrid, the team he coached 13 years ago.
Jose Mourinho also coached the “Galacticos” from 2010 to 2013, during which he won a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup. Real returned to the semi-finals of the Champions League with Mourinho, being 3 times close to playing the final.
“MOUcha historia por hacer”, was the pun used by Perez in the election campaign. The original version would have been “Mucha historia por hacer”, translated “There is still a lot of history to be written”, at the beginning being inserted part of the name of the technician who has a good chance of taking over the team this summer.
“While on TV I'm talking and talking and talking…” the video begins, calling for votes for Florentino Pérez for the next four years in office.
