Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country is currently utilizing more than 300 long-range drones each day as part of its military operations against Russia. He emphasized the importance of these drone strikes in making Russia feel the consequences of its decision to continue the war.
“We have a clear objective, and we will carry out this task. The Russians have adopted a strategy of intensifying terror, leading to constant air raid alerts in Kyiv and other cities, where Shahed drones have been utilized in attacks,” Zelensky stated. He went on to mention the ongoing strikes in regions such as Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipro, and Kherson, where civilian infrastructure has suffered damage.
The president highlighted that all available countermeasures are being employed and underscored the need for a significant acceleration in the production of interceptors specifically designed to combat the Shahed drones. This is crucial for ensuring that Ukraine’s drone operations instill a sense of accountability in Russia regarding its choices in this conflict.

- On June 25, Zelensky revealed a 40-day operation by the Security Service of Ukraine aimed at impacting the aggressor state, Russia, to expedite the end of the war. During this period, Ukraine began regularly targeting Russian logistical facilities, including warehouses such as Wildberries.
