He was also known for owning luxury properties, including The Fontenay hotel in Hamburg, Germany.
Earlier this year, his investment fund, Kuehne Holding, increased its stake in Deutsche Lufthansa AG to 20%. As reported by Bloomberg Billionaires, Kuehne’s net worth has increased more than fourfold in the last decade.
