Residents Face Additional Heating Charges in Kyiv Amid Controversy

In a new municipal scandal, residents of Kyiv are expressing concerns over additional heating charges appearing in their June utility bills. Many residents are reporting that they continue to receive bills for January, when numerous homes were without heating due to Russian shelling. During the period from January to March, over 600 complaints were filed regarding the lack or inadequate provision of heating services. According to Lubyenets, Kyivteploenergo justifies these additional charges through an automatic recalculation process. The Ombudsman is demanding a government investigation and the cancellation of these disputed bills.
