“I vote for the preservation of democracy”

Hotnews went directed and spoke to some of the students who stand in line to vote.

Vlad, 23, an automatic student, master, year I:

“I vote, first of all, for a pro-European future, we have no chance of progress if we give up. And for a better future not only for myself, but also for the last generations. It is not just about us, now. I vote for a better economy of the country, for its growth, to be able to bring to the country more companies, and to be more for the first. Past, the elections have been canceled.

Antonia, 30, a journalism graduate, who works in marketing:

“I vote for the European Directorate, for the preservation of democracy, although the candidate I vote today has left a doubt – that is, I have not necessarily resonated with the conservative thinking, because it is, despite the statements of his counter -candidate, a conservative person.

I would also like to be completely transparent in the campaign, left room for interpretations about his donors in the campaign. I do not believe in any form, that he will be a perfect president. But I think, at least, he has good intentions, that he is on the good side of things. However, the statements of the last period of his counter-candidate were much more serious, in disagreement with my principles, which is why I cannot support him. I choose the pro-European path, because these are my values. “

“It was an easy choice, that's what I voted in the first round.”

“We came to vote for a pro-European future, I don't think we need to say more. It was an easy choice, that's what I voted in the first round,” say Alex and Cristian, students in electrical, electronics, telecommunications and information technology.

“We vote for democracy, for freedom and for, we hope, a better future. I could not vote in the first round, I was leaving Bucharest, I had more problems, the train I was returning with and so it was. Be much harder, if most will not decide the pro-European direction, as I choose now.

“I vote today for democracy, for the European Union, to keep our freedoms of any kind. So did we vote in the first round,” said another young woman, a student at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences.
