A meeting with Putin can be organized in the United States. Zelensky revealed what he talked about with Trump

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed with White House President Donald Trump during a telephone conversation on June 14 the possibility of organizing a meeting with the illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia. Zelensky announced this on June 15 in his message on Telegram.

He recalled that Putin was offered to meet in any place where real decisions could be made to end the war, but he “doesn’t want that.”

The Ukrainian side also discussed with the United States and France the possibility of a meeting with Putin on the sidelines of the G7 summit with the participation of all democratic countries. Today Zelensky, commenting on the massive attack on Kyiv on the night of June 15, said that Russia has once again demonstrated its unpreparedness for any dialogue.

“Yesterday we discussed with President Trump that such a meeting could be organized in the United States in a format in which it would be much more difficult for Putin to refuse, at least for President Trump. Let’s see what comes of this. If Russia refuses this chance, additional pressure will be needed,” Zelensky added.
