The reconstruction of the largest green areas in Moscow has been completed. Now these are not just places with benches, but modern spaces with equipped beaches, sports tracks and play areas.

Gorky Park: mini-resort by the water. A full-fledged beach area has been installed on Pionersky Pond. Wooden flooring was laid here, sun loungers, sun canopies, changing rooms and showers were installed. Pavilions in the shape of cruise ships with observation decks on the roofs appeared on Pushkinskaya Embankment, and the walls of buildings near the Crimean Bridge were decorated with mosaic panels based on sketches by artist Alexander Deineka.

Sokolniki: skate park and space for children. Specialists completely cleaned the Olenyi and Zolotoy ponds and laid new decking around them. A play town called “Stargazers” was opened for children – these are five play “planets” connected by safe nets. The park also has a modern skate park, and the amphitheater at the main fountain has been updated and tables with phone chargers have been installed.

Yauza Park: eco-trail and obstacle course. The space became the longest linear park in Europe. A wooden eco-trail on stilts was laid along the river floodplain, which allows you to walk without harming wildlife. For lovers of active recreation, a sports zone “Russian Ninja” with an obstacle course was built here.

“Kolomenskoye”: wedding garden and mirror ring. The Moskva River embankment has been transformed along a length of 3.5 kilometers. There is a Wedding Garden with a stylish pavilion for marriage registrations, an amphitheater overlooking the water and a green labyrinth. An unusual art object was installed on the pier – a mirror ring, the details of which sway in the wind and shimmer in the sun.

Sparrow Hills and Friendship Park: sports and types. Professional jogging and cycling tracks were installed on Vorobyovskaya Embankment, and an observation deck was opened on the roof of one of the berths. In the Friendship Park at the River Station, a huge circular swing and a children's play area in the form of a soaring zigzag were installed.

Admission to all parks and playgrounds is free.

Let us remind you that earlier a large-scale project “Summer in Moscow” was launched in the capital. As part of the program, free sports training, open-air film screenings and creative master classes in the fresh air were organized in all areas of the city.
